PaidRouter

Same $1,000 invoice. $35.39 or $0.

What you lose to fees depends on the route your money takes, not the work you did. PaidRouter ranks every way to get paid by what you keep, for you or for your AI agent. Every fee is sourced and dated.

Enter a typical payment. We rank every route your client could use, using each company's published fees.

Ranked by fee only. Helcim uses an interchange estimate (2.0% + 10¢ online, 1.7% + 10¢ in person), marked "estimate". We may earn a referral fee from some providers; it never changes the order.

In their own words

Nobody sends you a bill for it.

Public posts from people who get paid for a living, quoted exactly as written. None of them were asked; the links go to the originals.

“I don't want to pay the fees for paypal or credit card processing if I can avoid it.”
A tech contractor, Hacker News, March 2024
“just a tiny market girl ,(tallow business) but the fees are killing me”
A Square seller, Square Community, November 2025
“I get charged ~8% in fees on a 10 euro transaction on Stripe… it's brutal for a small business like myself.”
A US small business, Hacker News, June 2026
“I do about 10 transaction a month for rent purposes. The new 1% (max $10) will end up costing me over $1000 per year.”
A landlord on QuickBooks bank-transfer fees, QuickBooks Community, 2021
“I too have held out for 8 years not accepting credit card due to the added fees”
A small business owner, QuickBooks Community, April 2023

The fee is taken before the money lands, so it never shows up as a cost. The calculator above shows it; your agent can check it before every invoice.

Sending money abroad

The cheapest provider changes with the amount.

Sending $1,000 to India, Remitly delivers the most. At $200, Wise does. Sending $1,000 to Mexico, PayPal delivers about $49 less than Wise. A router checks every time.

For agents

Built for agents first.

PaidRouter is an MCP server and a JSON API. Your assistant asks how to get paid; PaidRouter answers with the route, the fee and the source.

  • cheapest_way_to_get_paid: rank every route for an amount, with yearly savings
  • get_fees and explain_fees: sourced fees for any platform
  • compare_send_money: US → Mexico and India, by what arrives
  • route_it_for_me: ask PaidRouter to set up the route (waitlist for now)

Get a free key

No email needed. If you give one, we use it only to tell you about changes to PaidRouter; never shared or sold. We store the key and which tools it called. Your agent can also skip this: its first call gets a key automatically.

Treat the key like a library card, not a password: it unlocks free fee lookups and nothing else. It can't move money or see any account. Revoking it erases its email and watched routes. If your agent sends totals to my_effective_rate, we keep the totals only, never a statement, payment or customer.
